Japanese Class

Yesterday was my 1st Japanese lesson and wow I didn't expect it would be like that. There were 7 people including me and the most people were three or two times my age and one person was even a teacher!  ._. Sure.. it's my age group.. There were two students though, not that i have something in common with them. Also there was one man, i think he was in his 30's or 40's and he looked scary! Even though he is old, he's addicted to anime and wants to learn japanese so that he can watch anime without subs o_o. I really thought to myself, what the hell am i doing here! Well well, i have to learn japanese since i'm going a year to japan.. I'm not sure if i will learn something from the Japanese lessons though.. The teacher isn't a very good teacher, because she doesn't explain things very well, since her dutch isn't very fluent. Anyways i have to learn Hiragana for the next lesson i hope i can do it.. I wonder if i will ever master the japanese language D:
